I was hurt at work due to a fall. The fall and injury were immediately reported to my supervisor and a report was written to document the fall and injury.

I was seen at a after hours urgent care and taken off of work. I was told I needed to see the Work Comp doc on Monday and told I needed an MRI. I seen the work comp doc and told I needed an MRI. I was told to stay off of work and wait for work comp to approve the MRI and then for it to be scheduled.

After a month I finally got to go get the MRI. And was waiting for my next appointment with the work comp doctor. I showed up for my appointment and was told it had been cancelled and that my claim was denied and closed. I was shocked.

I had never received a denial or anything in the mail from Broadspire. A lady that said she was my case manager had been calling me and having me call her every week to check on me and she never said anything to me either. After making many phone calls to Broadspire I was told who my real case manager supposedly was and was told that the lady that I had been speaking with was a NURSE CASE MANAGER. Mind you I have voice mails from this lady who identified herself as my CASE MANAGER.

She never said Nurse Case Manager. I finally spoke with EC Waller who is my real case manager and she told me my claim was denied because I failed to return paperwork that they supposedly sent me. I told her I never received any paperwork from Broadspire. I asked her what needed to be done to correct the problem and get my case opened so I could get medical care and get released to return to work.

She told me she would send me the paperwork again, then review it after I filled it out and sent it back to her and after she received my last medical records for the last 5 to 10 years. I was floored and upset. I almost lost my job because Broadspire denied my claim and said my injury was not work related so to my employer I had missed all of this work unexcused. I fought with Broadspire to get back in to see the work comp doctor who took me off work so I could get a release to return to work so I didn't lose my job.

When I finally got to see the work comp doctor I was told I could only see him to get a release to return to work. While at that doctors appointment I was told by a nurse that Broadspire denied my claim because I failed a drug test. Broadspire never gave me a drug test!!! At that point I was just done.

I had been without a pay check for months and wasn't receiving medical care. I left that appointment and hired a work comp attorney. The attorney was able to get my claim reopened, get my back pay for lost wages and get me medical treatment. Broadspire denied my claim right up until a few weeks before the court hearing.

Just so you are aware Broadspire will have you followed and spied on to try and prove you are faking it or breaking your doctors restrictions.

And Broadspire will have requested all of your previous medical records without you knowing, they are looking for anything that they can blame for your current injury on. DO NOT TRUST ANYONE FROM BROADSPIRE!! Record any and all phone conversations you have with anyone from Broadspire and tell them first thing during the call that the phone call is being recorded and make sure that it's on the recording that you told them the call is being recorded. Keep a journal of every call, write down if you called them or if they called you, the date and time, who you spoke with, the phone number and the content of the conversation and keep phone records to coincide with your journal.

Broadspire will straight up lie to you, give you the run around, stall you, drag things out and do anything and everything they can to deny your claim and get out of paying for your medical care and lost wages. Get a second opinion and don't trust the work comp doctors either. They work for workers compensation and are not going to do what is best for you, they're not going to *** the hand that feeds them. I would advise anyone dealing with Broadspire to get an attorney immediately so that you avoid losing everything you own because Broadspire isn't paying you.

Broadspire tries to break you, they want you financially devastated so they have you at their mercy. Broadspire is not a up and up legit business, they are cooked and they do dirty under handed things. I believe that Broadspire does illegal things and think they should be investigated and shut down!!! Injured workers should not be treated the way Broadspire treats them.

Broadspire is the most corrupt and awful business I have ever dealt with.

If you are having issues with Broadspire report them to anyone that you can and file complaints against them. Something needs to be done about them and maybe if enough people cause enough of a commotion someone will start looking into what Broadspire is doing to injured workers.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

How do you record them.?? And they are HORRID.

Their Doctor left symptoms out of the notes. I am 9 months out with a brain injury and at 6 months they act like you are miraculously cured. Their "Nurse" got the Neuro.

to stay that some things were not related to my accident. Now I am fighting to try to get away from their "Dr."

Hey, InjuredWorker in Canon City - I tried to send you a private message, but this pissedconsumer website only lets BUSINESS OWNERS send private messages. Doesn't seem right but I guess I'll post to you here instead.

Yes, I 100% agree with you, Broadspire is totally corrupt and so are their doctors.

Recording everything with the doctor is good also - I'm busting Dr. Paz here in Denver thanks to having recorded every office visit and comparing my recordings to Dr. Paz's version of each office visit. He's getting in big trouble with the Colorado Medical Board and also the Division of Insurance.

Hopefully, Broadspire and CDOT will be held accountable as well.
